Social Skills Groups & Camps

Social connection is vital for every child’s development. At NeuroVaughan Autism Clinic, our structured social skills groups provide a safe, supportive environment where children can practice interaction, turn-taking, conversation, and friendship-building skills through play-based activities. Our groups are designed to help children develop the social skills they need to form meaningful relationships and navigate social situations with confidence.

Key Benefits

How It Works

Our social skills groups begin with an assessment to identify your child’s social strengths and areas for growth. Based on this evaluation, we place your child in an age-appropriate group with peers who have similar social goals.

Group sessions are structured yet fun, using play-based activities to teach specific social skills. Children practice turn-taking, conversation, sharing, problem-solving, and friendship-building in a supportive environment. Activities are designed to be engaging and motivating, making social learning enjoyable.

Skills are practiced across different activities and contexts to ensure generalization. We also provide strategies for parents to support social skill development at home and in the community. Our seasonal camps offer extended opportunities for social learning in a fun, engaging setting.
